To ensure the SNF Navigation platform met user needs from the outset, we integrated user testing as a core component of the design process. Given the early-stage nature of the organization and limited budget, testing was conducted with a focused group of representative users (Who) during key stages of the design lifecycle (When). Testing sessions were carried out remotely and in controlled environments (Where), using low- to mid-fidelity prototypes (What) to gather actionable feedback on usability and clarity. The objective (Why) was to validate design decisions and uncover usability issues early. We employed lean testing methods, including moderated usability testing and heuristic evaluations (How), which led to iterative refinements in typography, layout, visual hierarchy, tone, color contrast, and messaging—ultimately enhancing accessibility, engagement, and overall user experience.

I conducted competitive research (What) on the top five most relevant companies in the finance sector (Where) to develop a data-driven marketing strategy (Why). This research focused on companies serving audiences with disabilities (Who) to better understand their design and communication approaches (How). The study took place during the initial phase of the project (When) and aimed to identify best practices and gaps in accessibility. This holistic approach ensured an inclusive, user-centered strategy tailored to the unique needs of this demographic.

During the initial design phase (When), I led the creation of low-fidelity wireframes (What) using Figma and Adobe XD (How) as part of a user-centered design approach (Why). These early prototypes were developed to rapidly explore and iterate on multiple layout and navigation concepts (Why), with a primary focus on the website’s information architecture, user flow, structural clarity, and accessibility (What). This work was carried out remotely in collaboration with the internal project team (Where/Who), allowing us to validate core design decisions efficiently before advancing to high-fidelity visuals.

I built medium-fidelity prototypes (What) with Axure and Figma (How) after wireframing (When) to demonstrate the user journey interactively (Why). This helped the client (Who) better understand the design and make faster decisions. Later, I tested two versions with 10 users in a controlled setting (Where) to collect feedback.
